| VE Testing for FCC Amateur Radio Licenses in Montgomery | ARRL
VE Team | The Montgomery (AL) ARRL VE Team conducts examinations for all classes of amateur radio licenses on the last Saturday of every month (except when that day falls on a holiday or Field Day) at the Red Cross building (see directions on our Meetings page) in Montgomery, AL. Exams begin promptly at 1:00 p.m. Pre-registration is recommended; walk-ins WILL be accepted. The ARRL examination fee for 2011 is $15.00. For reservations and/or more information , contact the team liaison, Howard Marshall, W2SKP, by e-mail, hmarshal@w2skp.com. | | CAVEC | The Montgomery Central Alabama VEC team gives exams for all classes of amateur radio licenses every second Monday at the Red Cross building (see directions here) in Montgomery. The exams start at 6:30 p.m. Fee for all exams is $3.00. For more information about the Montgomery CAVEC team, contact Jim Eiland, KR4JY.
In addition to giving monthly amateur radio exams, Montgomery's CAVEC team give amateur radio exams at the Montgomery Hamfest. |

Bring the original and a copy of your photo ID along with a second form of identification -
Bring your original FCC license and a photocopy of your license (if you are currently licensed) -
Bring the original and a copy of any Certificate(s) of Successful Completion of Examination (CSCEs) -
If necessary, bring a calculator -
Bring a pen and two pencils -
Be sure to bring cash payment for the test fees charged by the VEC (correct change, please!) Ready for your exam?
